1. Overview
PornVeterans.com (“the Website”) respects intellectual-property rights and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how we address copyright infringement claims under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA,” 17 U.S.C. § 512).
2. Repeat-Infringer Policy
When circumstances warrant, we will disable or terminate access for any user we identify as a repeat infringer. We may also remove content or links that violate our Terms of Service for reasons unrelated to copyright.
3. DMCA Takedown Notices
If you believe material on the Website infringes your copyright, email a notice to [email protected] with all elements required by § 512(c)(3):
- Signature – A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Work Identified – A description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or a representative list.
- Location of Infringing Material – URLs or other information reasonably sufficient to locate the material.
- Contact Information – Your name, telephone number, and email address.
- Good-Faith Statement – A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy & Authority Statement – A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the content and notify the user who posted it.
4. Counter-Notifications
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected] that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, telephone number, and email address, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal courts in your district (or, if outside the United States, the U.S. District Court for the District where PornVeterans.com is located) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material unless the original complainant files a court action within ten (10) business days.
5. Misrepresentations
Anyone who knowingly misrepresents material facts in a DMCA notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) under § 512(f).
6. Policy Updates
We may revise this Copyright Policy at any time. Continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
